PET FRIENDLY- one dog 25 lbs or less will be allowed in the unit. If you are bringing a pet, please let us know and there will be a $150, non-refundable pet fee added to your stay. If any additional cleaning is needed, this will be billed to your credit card. **All pets MUST be leashed at all times, regardless of breed, size, or temperament. Each guest is responsible for the proper disposal of pet waste. Please use the trash can designated for pet waste.**

Sweet Home Alabama is an adorable two-bedroom, three-bath home in downtown Gulf Shores. These cottages are located just across the street from the beach and share an outdoor pool (not heated).

• Access to the balcony is from the living room

• Wood tile flooring is throughout the home

• Features a fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops and unique cabinetry. Also included is a Keurig and a regular coffee maker. The dining room has seating for six with four bar stools for additional seating.

• The washer and dryer are located on the second floor of the home

• The primary bedroom has a king-size bed

• The second bedroom has two queen-size beds and a set of twin bunk beds. *Children six years or younger should not be permitted on the top bunk.

• Community gas grill located in the pool area

• No waiting in long lines for check-in or check-out with keyless entry!

• A maximum of two cars are allowed. Parking is underneath the house. No boats, watercraft, campers or trailers are allowed.

$400 FREE Activities Daily-Guests will receive one complimentary admission to our select activities per day. You can go to every one of these activities every day, and one person will be free per day. Additional guests will pay full price. Admissions are non-cumulative and non-transferable. Unused admissions expire daily.

So yes, you may choose to go fishing in the morning (one person is free), then golf at lunch (one person is free), and then go to the zoo that afternoon (one person is free). Or you may choose to go to the zoo in the morning with the kids (one person is free), and your husband can play golf (one person is free) and then meet that afternoon to go on the dolphin cruise (one person is free.) You may do some or all of these select activities every day, and one of your parties is free every day.

These activities are yours to use if you choose to do so at no additional cost or obligation.

Good location

This property was a perfect fit for my family of 4 and our dog. The location was perfect! The beach was literally right accross the road. There were quite a few things to do nearby as well.

Nice Getaway

The house was the perfect size for my family and I. It was within walking distance of the beach which was nice. We also had enough cookware and dishware for daily meals. The floors were slightly dirty, but everything else was clean and to our liking.

Great Beach Vacation!

Beach house was exactly as described with fun beach decor! Located very close to the beach! Clean, comfortable beds, lots of room! Beautiful, Spotless, and Super Beach Convenient

This is a super nice and clean cottage. There is a pool one unit over from this one and the beach is a quick walk directly across the street with dedicated beach access. Super convenient to the beach and the shops and dining places nearby. Best part of all is that it’s pet friendly!!

Sweet Home Alabama was amazing! Perfect size for my family of 9! Super clean, A/C was cold, the comfort of the beds were top notch! Across the street from the beach access! Not one single complaint! Will be booking again in the future!

Nice Time at Gulf Shores

Property was well maintained and clean. For pets, not a lot of green space but it worked out ok. A short walk across the street to the beach which was very nice. We enjoyed our time. Traffic tended to be an issue late morning and then again in the afternoon so plan accordingly.

The house was very nice. It was clean. It was very close to the beach; as well as shopping and other fun activities. I do believe that some of the "additional fees" were a bit pricy compared to other places, but overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Spring Break

Everything about our stay was great. We will definitely be back and recommend to others. One thing to note is that the traffic was really loud at all hours of the night due to spring break. It didn’t keep us awake because we were all exhausted from our daily activities, but it would have been really hard for families with small children or light sleepers.

Great Time

The Cottages were perfect! No more than a 2 minute walk to the beach and plenty of amentities for us to feel at home. Also has a pool that was conveniently located if we did not want to go to the beach. Location was great as it was about a half a mile from hangout and all the gulf shores action and a short drive to Orange Beach. Sleeps 4-6 comfortably but can easily sleep 8. Will be staying here again for sure! Lastly, itrip was extremely attentive the whole time and made sure our needs were meet!

Simply the Best

I had the pleasure of staying at Romeo Cottage and it was so beautifully decorated in a very private community. We were right across the street from the beach and when you access the crosswalk the light changes immediately. We literally had no problem and the beaches are gorgeous. The cottage is new and the beds are so comfortable with plenty of room. We are booking again for next year and I can't wait.

Beautiful vacation cottage

Sweet home Alabama cottage is truly a very cozy and relaxing place to stay. Its very clean, organized and the house beachy decorations makes the cottage so worth to stay. It is very close to restaurants and souvenir shops. Unfortunately, we brought our furbaby and we can't stay at the beach across because its not a pet friendly beach. We went to Fort Morgan beach instead and its like a 20-25 mins drive from the rental place. But overall, the rental place is very nice.
