"Great stay on Johnson lake! My wife and I found the place to check all the boxes we were looking for. We enjoyed the town of Gwinn, plenty of restaurants to chose from. Amanda, our host, was great. We arrived late, but she was nice enough to wait up for us to make sure we got in okay. We would go back again."

"Our family get together was wonderful due to the accommodations at this property. All communication was easy and responses were quick. We loved that outside area that allowed us to enjoy the lake and wildlife even in the rain. We have never stayed in a VRBO rental that was offered as many amenities. "Lots to do here on the property. Bill was great to work with. They gave us their well-stocked home for a wonderfully relaxing week. And very clean! The only possible downer for someone is if you are looking for a beach for kids to play in the sand, there really isn't one (hence the 4-star on listing accuracy). Wasn't an issue for us though. Would definitely recommend this owner and property!"

"This house is located on a quiet lake and we had a great time swimming, kayaking, and riding in the pontoon boat. We saw bald eagles flying over the lake in the morning. The host provided everything we needed, including life jackets, towels, and water toys. There were ample bedrooms for our two families with kids. The property manager was very helpful when we had an issue come up requiring a repair and got it fixed the same day."

"Made my reservation on line. Went to get keys and asked that room be drive up. Desk staff claimed i would have to pay extra as only one room wasnt rented. She couldnt figure out how to do it. Ended up keeping the price the same. The parking lot wasnt even half full at 6 am. She believe she lied to try and get a couple more $$ for the room. Room itself was large and clean. Nice simple breakfast before we headed out for Pictured Rocks Hiking spots."
