200 feet on the water with boat house!!!

  • Beautiful classic Louisiana fishing cottage with 200 feet of canal frontage and your own private boathouse that includes two boat slips with lifts. The large porch is perfect for watching the boats pass by or just enjoying the coastal breezes. There's a large kitchen upstairs and a second "entertainment" kitchen downstairs that includes a pool table. Included with the house is a pellet grill, boiling pot with double burner, and an electric fryer. It also has a large commercial ice machine for your convenience.

Wonderful stay at this beautiful boathouse! The owner was very accommodating to us, and we had a blast fishing all day. Having the ice machine and boat slip was a super nice perk. We were able to dock our boat each night and hop in fully loaded with ice and food, and take off first thing. We'll definitely be coming back to this house for our annual boys trip!

Great Place to Stay

This property is by far the nicest place I've stayed in on several fishing trips to Hackberry. It was well equipped with everything you could possibly need, including a pellet grill loaded and ready to use, propane cooker, fish cleaning station, two boat slips and an ice maker that was a big plus. There is plenty of room both upstairs and down and the bedrooms were very clean and comfortable. This place will definitely be my first choice on my next trip to the area.

Weekend Fishing trip

The accommodations were top notch and very clean. Very beautiful place and very clean! The only thing I wish was different was the depth of the bayou and the distance from the house to the bay.

Fun Filled Getaway!

We had a fantastic time at our stay. We have been renting camps in Hackberry for 6 consecutive years, this is the FIRST camp we will be rebooking! This camp had it all. Plenty space for multiple families, all the ammenities for the avid fisherman & crabbers, and plenty yard space for summertime activities. Our host was so sweet in making sure we had everything we needed! 10/10 place to stay in Hackberry, USA!

Wonderful place-wonderful host.

The house is beautiful and furnished with anything you might need. There were only 6 of us, but it could easily accommodate 10-12. The owner was accessible and helpful with any questions. We didn't have a boat, but obviously there would be more to enjoy if we had. We would definitely go back again and bring the kids.

The owner was extremely communicative, offered an early check in as well as a late check out if needed-all the pictures do not do this property justice, it feels much larger than described and all amenities were in working order! The views were great, the porch space was utilized to its fullest and many naps were taken! Fantastic property-

Lots of ammenities

This is a great house if you are traveling to fish. It has a spacious lot, use of 2 covered boat lifts, ice machine, pellet grill, pool table, lots of outdoor covered seating. The house is very spacious as well and had everything you could need. The set up was nice for our group with the separate bed and bath downstairs that provided some privacy for the friends that were traveling with our family

Family fun at the lake

We stayed here for Memorial Day weekend. The house was clean and well stocked. We were thankful for a decent supply of paper goods, laundry and dish detergent. Beds were comfortable. We appreciated the boat house to safely stow our boat overnight. We went to Holly Beach 20 minutes down the road. fishing and crabbing on the lake, then took a sunset boat ride to the casino. Location was great for us and we had no issues. Management was responsive to questions

Great for us!

It was a great house on the canal. Our kids enjoyed catch and release crabs and catfish from the dock. We even had a gar on the hook at one point! The house was great with plenty of room. The downstairs is under-represented, and is essentially another apartment. This would be great for families with teenagers.

Graduation celebration Crab Trip

My family of 9 celebrated my daughter’s high school graduation with a weekend crab trip in Hackberry. We are so please with this property and the host. The home was set up so nicely to accommodate our group and had all the comforts of home. The house was beautifully decorated and every detail planned so well to make it easy to fish, boat, and cook the catch. The host was very thoughtful and responded quickly ti any questions I had. Tonia provided detailed information regarding the house instructions and any information you made need for your stay in the area- fishing guides, golfing, shopping, etc..We had a wonderful stay and would love to rent this home again!
