"The room was comfortable and the place is very nice but the crew didn’t speak English fluently
As so the service wasn’t so good although they did their best.
Hot water in the bathroom lasts for 2-3 minutes didn't last to finish a bath with hot water, breakfast wasn't organised felt like they can only have a good option for sleeping and less for the rest .
Lovely view and garden.

"Had booked The Himalayan on a friends advise and I must say it was an amazing, out of the world stay for 4 nights . Just as in the pictures it gives a real feel of staying in a castle . The rooms were quite big and beds most comfortable. Of course the view from the windows of the snow capped mountains and Manali town below was just too good to be true. The property with beautiful gardens, a pool & cottages around it made us feel so relaxed and we felt bad when our stay was about to end. The...

"We had horrible experience overall staying at this hotel.
Cons:
- The road leading to the hotel is extremely narrow, making it nearly impossible to reach by car. It’s only suitable for those traveling by bike or on foot, so plan accordingly.
- Heaters are not included in the rooms and are only available for an additional Rs. 600, which is inconvenient, especially in cold weather.
- The breakfast buffet was disappointing in both variety and quality. It’s surprising this hotel has a 3-star...

"Comfortable room, not a one minute walk to mall road. Room had no heating making it a bit cold in winter. Fantastic choice at breakfast. I was lucky to have a balcony however the taxi drivers use the road the balcony overlooked as an urinal."

"We had a great stay in this hotel in Manali. The staff were friendly and courteous, the room was very comfortable and the meals were very good.
Our overseas credit cards wouldn’t work so they allowed us to check in and stay the first night until we could locate an ATM to be able to pay in cash. We felt very safe in the area "

"Loved my short stay at the property. Everyone was warm and welcoming; and informative about the places nearby which really helped me in exploring nearby attractions. The views from the property was just breathtaking as it had started snowing just a day before I reached Manali.
Will visit again and stay longer next time. Until then, goodbye and thanks to the team for being so hospitable and for keeping us travellers warm on chilly nights with the late evening bonfires."

- The property feels understaffed, and the existing team was not very helpful during our stay.
Here are some positives if you still choose to stay.
Pros:
The mountain view rooms offer nice scenery, which is a highlight if you opt for that category.
The property itself is clean and well-maintained."
