"We stayed here for the night before our early flight home to the states. It was the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in! No frills, but we weren't looking for any. Breakfast was self-serve, so we were able to eat early before heading to airport. Would definitely recommend this to those doing a night in Keflavík on one end of their trip. I probably wouldn't want to stay more than a night as the rooms are just big enough for the beds. "
"Great location. Not more than 50 yards to 5 or 6 really super restaurants. Noisy street talk until about 9pm and then it stopped.
Odd shower with large swinging glass door. No grab bars in shower or at the toilet.
Beds comfortable.
We had 2 carry on suitcases and there was not a good place to set them up. I used two chairs facing each other for mine."
"The staff were so friendly and helpful! The rooms we had were nice, clean and we enjoyed the spa which was also very clean. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was great food. Hotwl was walkable to many places including city center. Would/will stay here again!"
"Parking can be challenge. It’s on a gravel lot that you need to walk to from the hotel. Room is not huge but clean and upgraded. Breakfast is good, an excellent variety of selections. This was the first and last hotel we stayed in Iceland, we will definitely come back again! "
"We loved the breakfast every morning. The employees ensured everything was in tip top shape and delicious. We also loved the front desk staff. They were super kind and wonderful "
"When you enter the hotel, you can see that it is clean. The hallways are spacious. The rooms are clean with the necessary amenities. We felt comfortable immediately. "
"Traveled with baby- lovely cot provided with bedding for baby. The restaurant onsite is delicious and accommodating. Hotel was clean and staff was friendly and helpful in setting up activities and taxi"
"The place was clean, staff great and in a great place to explore the city. The issue we had was the beds were twins pushed together and they would separate and create a gap between them as we slept.
This is a small issue and we would stay here again."
"Great location with easy walking distance to downtown. Breakfast was great too. We only spent 1 night in the family room which isn’t big but has outdoor deck access as well which we would have used if we’d stayed there longer. We even walked to the Aurora museum on the waterfront which is doable if you can walk a couple of miles round trip."
"It's slightly off the centre of the city but still very walkable to ships and restaurants. It's self check in and out, but we had no problem with that. We were able to store our luggage before our check in time.
The shower is very nice and the beds are comfortable. We would stay here again. "
"Very comfortable, large room. Very friendly, helpful staff. Hotel is in a perfect location in the middle of the city within a 15/20 minute walk of many highlights, restaurants and the harbor. The breakfast basket and daily sourdough bread were amazing. "
"After 2 weeks in Iceland, this was our favorite multi-room stay. Our rook had its own sink, mirror, table, and wall cubbies and a power strip by the bed! Showers were convenient and cabinets in kitchen all labeled.
Staff was very welcoming and kind. They went out of their way helping us figure out a package that we had sent.
Overall - Loved this place and would stay again if we make it back to Iceland!"
"Perfect choice for a hotel in Reykjavik. Very close to great restaurants and city hall for tour pickups. Breakfast had lots of choices- hot and cold including smoked salmon. Rooms were quiet and comfortable."
"Tony at the front desk was amazing. He helped me book the tours. Very friendly and professional.
Raina and Tanya were super helpful in answering our questions and recommending places to eat."
"Friendly staff, easy checkout and nice breakfast for our one day stay at the Lighthouse Inn. Milan at the front desk welcomed us and made us feel at home right away!"
