Our two-story home on a quiet tree-lined street will be a welcome retreat for your family or friends getaway! Quilters will love the shops downtown - one guest described Hamilton as a "Quilters' Disneyland"! In the fall, hunters will love the local conservation areas. Hardwood floors, a jack-and-jill bedroom closet, and the cutest under-the-stairs bathroom you've ever seen, make this house a charmer. With large rooms, comfy furniture, a dining room big enough for a crowd, and king, queen, full and twin size beds to sleep 10, our guests can enjoy time together and have room to spread apart. Spend quiet mornings relaxing on the front porch swing, evenings in the fenced back yard toasting marshmallows over the fire pit, and days playing games, crafting, quilting, and just renewing yourself in our comfortable space. Take a day trip to St Joseph for some history, Kansas City for BBQ, or Jamesport Amish country for some great shopping! There are pumpkin patches and apple orchards in the fall; water parks and lakes in the summer; and great restaurants and wineries year-round - all less than 45 minutes away. Whether you are planning a weekend with the girls, a family vacation or a hunting retreat with friends, there's something for everyone at The Hamilton House!

Beautifully restored and clean
The Hamilton House is an older home that has been beautifully restored. It was very clean, and the listing described it perfectly. It was the perfect setting to gather with extended family for a fun weekend trip to MSQC. I would definitely stay here again! :)

Nice place for girls trip
The home was pleasant and the porch was wonderful in the mornings. The beds were comfortable. Iron would be nice to have. There’s only one shower and not with the best water pressure - plan accordingly! Short walk to downtown which was perfect for us!

Six of us gals stayed in the Hamilton House for three nights! The beds were super comfortable and the linens were awesome. Grounds are neat and we had a wonderful time visiting Hamilton and the MO Star Quilt Company. The hideabed couch is not so comfortable, just saying, but everything else is wonderful. We came in an RV and parked on the street which is ample. You will enjoy! Some of the doors could use some oil :).

The purpose of our trip was to visit Missouri Star Quilt Company. The house location was perfect for this. We also visited two of other towns in the area. Again, perfect location for this part of the country. House was clean and just as described. If we visit the area again I'd book the same location.

Spacious home with charm! It was further from the venue than i had expected, but very doable! Window AC’s had a hard time cooling the upstairs bedrooms n the heat and blaring sun, but overnight they cooled down. Loved the porch swing for morning coffee! overall a great place to stay!

We stayed in the Hamilton house after the Taylor Swift concert. Jennafer allowed us a super late check in, and even left cookies as a treat!! Everything was clean and in order, and we had plenty of beds for everyone. The ceilings are low, if you’re a super tall person, but other than that, we loved the house!!

The Hamilton House was a perfect fit for our 6 adults and one infant. The area was quiet, a short walk to town and a short drive to the Pearl at Crawford Farm for an event we attended. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was great. We did not need to cook at the house but the kitchen was well supplied. Jennafer was very responsive.

The house was amazing and clean. Had everything we needed. King & Queen beds were comfortable. The bunk beds weren't but for one night it was fine. There was a wasp in one of the rooms and the window ac wasnt quite sealed up so im sure thats how he got in. Everything else was amazing. Jennafer even left us muffins for the next morning, and they were delicious.
