"This was our favorite apartment accomodation in Japan. Very comfortable and enough space for 2 and in a great location. We could walk to the station and to the city center and castle. The small kitchen was fine for making a small breakfast and coffee. And we really appreciated the wash machine and drying rack! Check in worked exactly as described. Highly recommended!"

"Very special and nice place to stay, very near to kumamoto castle, good location, however better to drive there. Sometimes quite noisy at night due to the traffic, other than that great place to stay, highly recommended"

I stayed here a day before heading to a retreat. The room was just the right size for one traveler and I appreciated the room clothes! The onsen and sauna was perfect and restorative and the breakfast was delicious. I would stay here again!

The hotel is conveniently located next to Sakura machi mall with lot of dining options. There is also a park next to it and in holiday time they put a Christmas market. The roof top onsen is the most important part, relaxing and fun. They offer free ramen and popsicle.

Rooms were wonderful and the staff was so attentive and friendly. Great location so close to Sakuramachi, the shopping arcade, and the Kumamoto Castle and right across the street from the tram station. Laundry machines were always clean and you can check the status on the TV without leaving your room which was so nice.

Loved the location of this hotel. Beautiful view of the castle. We were within walking distance of downtown but a little off the main street so it was a bit quieter. The hotel had a really nice traditional breakfast every morning. The staff was super helpful and polite. Very very helpful in finding things around Kumamoto. I really enjoyed my time in Kumamoto. Thank you KKR.
