Birds and views
We loved watching the birds at the four feeders around the house. We even saw a few turkeys. Great sunset views and very quiet and secluded.

Great Stay in a Great Place!
This cabin was cozy, well stocked, and well positioned for adventuring in the Lower Buffalo Wilderness. The only downside was that I didn't have more time there. Beautiful little slice of peace 🧡✨️

The perfect getaway location
We wanted a place to get away and reset for the holidays and we definitely found it at the bird’s nest! The property was exactly as listed and well equipped with the basics you’ll need. We spent the majority of our time exploring the hiking options and sight seeing in nearby towns… returning to this quaint little respite space was perfect.

Home Away from Home
This cabin was so clean! Perfect for just two people. Stocked with cleaners, plenty of dish towels, laundry detergent and fabric softener, paper towels and toilet paper, and nice bath towels and rugs. The appliances are all new and in excellent condition. The gas range is a plus for cooking and the pots n pans were like new. There were plenty of cooking utensils and silverware. We never could get the gas wall heater to turn on, but the electric cooling/heating unit kept it toasty. The bed was pretty comfy and the pillows are thick. The sheets are not cotton, but very soft polyester. There are spare blankets. There is not a hair dryer! (The amenities are accurate; I just didn’t read them.) The fire pit and chairs are perfect; we bought wood up the road. There was little to no traffic on the road and we had a lovely, unimpeded view of the night sky. Only a few minutes’ drive to Buffalo Point.

Perfecto!!
Great cabin, great coffee, great view! This cabin has all top end appliances, it even has a washer & dryer. So not going home with dirty clothes from this trip. 😁Secluded, clean & even a Green Egg to cook on. We saw a Cinnamon Bear, turkey & had deer (bucks) outside our bedroom window each morning between 6 & 7...and the birds were so unique & beautiful! A walk around porch just adds to the beauty. It is very close to Crocket's Canoe Rental & they have all the other places beat hands down on prices. Plus you may even meet Amanda, a local historian with a wealth of knowledge on the area. This has been one of my most favorite, memorable trips. We will definitely come back here again!! Try it out people, you won't be disappointed!!❤️❤️

Relaxing
This place was perfect for a getaway! I love the Ozarks and the view from the porch was perfect. We watched the sunset and it was magnificent! The cabin was perfect for the two of us! Cell reception can be a problem in a lot of place there, but we had great reception at the cabin. The grill, the fireplace, and the porch makes me want to come back many more times. If you want some peace and quiet in a beautiful cabin, book this place.

Great small place to visit the Lower District of the Buffalo River
We visited in early July, a family of four, including two kids. The cabin has a very nice view from the porch and a terrace -with a firepit and adirondack chairs- looking out to the west. The cabin is new and well kept. A/C works great. Grill is a Big Green Egg, and there was charcoal and tools on site. It is located very close to Spring Creek and Dillards ferry, which makes for an easy half a day float of that easy stretch of the Buffalo River. Possible disadvantages for some families similar to ours are the sofabed and the lack of wifi. Cellphone signal for us, T-Mobile, was one bar, just enough for being connected but not enough for video streaming. We knew this, as the property's description is clear. Overall I would recommend the place and we would come back again to it.

Cozy Cabin
Super cute little cottage. Very clean and laid out nicely with good use of the small space. Appliances where high end and new. Bed was firm but comfortable and bedding was very soft. We wish the area around the cabin had been mowed down further out as we didn’t want to walk through the tall grass to get to the fire pit. Also would be nice to have window blinds , especially in the bedroom, as the sun lights up the entire cabin very early with no way to escape from it and sleep in. Has a beautiful view of the sunset but could not get a good picture of it due to very large dead tree that may need to be cut down. Other than these three things, we really enjoyed our time there. Would definitely have given 5 stars otherwise.

Private and secluded
We had a wonderful 4th of July get away. So close to Buffalo river, we floated 2 days. Property was quiet and private. We saw deer in the yard everyday as well as an Eagle. It was spacious , clean, and had everything we needed plus some. The green egg grill made my husband happy. Would definitely go back!
