"The home was clean and had everything we needed. Loved relaxing in the adirondack chairs by the fire pit on the river front. The hot tub was a wonderful way to unwind at the end of the day. The host was very responsive when we had questions."

The Ottauquechee River is across the road. The bathroom is on the first floor, and bedrooms on the second floor. The smoke detector goes off if you saute on the stove. I recommend learning how to turn off a wired in smoke detector. You should open the kitchen window when you saute, because most of the smoke detectors...

"Although the stream was devastated by the Vermont floods, it was still enjoyable to relax and watch pass by. Several opportunities to explore the area for fishing and hiking. Host was very accommodating and attentive. The wood burning stove made some of best vacation breakfasts ever. Great vacation!"

"On a very quiet small lake, but plenty of things to do. Kayaks, paddleboard, float pad, and hot tub were a big hit. Plenty of games and activities in the house too for rainy days. Greg was great at communicating everything about the house and quick to respond. Would definitely stay again!"

The location was perfect within easy reach of Woodstock and the house was beautifully decorated, warm comfortable and spacious.
