"I came up for a "Dad's Weekend" with my VT kid. I first checked hotels and because it was the VT spring game and parents weekend, prices were outrageously high. I checked VRBO and this property came up. It was much more reasonably priced, had more space than I needed, and parking was convenient. The neighborhood isn't anything fancy, but I didn't go there to walk around Christiansburg, plus the 15min drive to VT is easy. All-in-all, much better than a hotel room. Would definitely stay there...

"We stayed here for VT graduation and could not have picked a better place. The lodge is wonderful- clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The view outside is gorgeous and there is so much to do. Our kids loved playing frisbee and feeding the goats and donkeys. Our grad loved the Hokie decor, and the grandparents loved the beauty, peace, and quiet. We are already makign plans to come back."

"In the downstairs area of the property owners’ home. It has a separate entrance at the rear of the home with no shared spaces with the property owners, other than the driveway. Space was cozy and very clean. Location was a very short and easy drive to downtown Blacksburg. Would definitely stay here again!"

Great place to rest your head
"Beds, bedding and pillows very comfortable. Full size dispensers of hand soap, lotion, body wash, shampoo and conditioner were nice quality. Love the added touch of the ledge in the shower to aid us ladies in shaving our legs, you don't even realize how much that matters until you don't have it. The hot breakfast hit the spot with myself and my teen boys. Definitely would stay again. Brand new hotel, added bonus as there was no wear and tear."
