Shugga was a horrible experience as a customer very rude and very unprofessional. She kept charging my card insane amounts of money and saying it was the hotel she had no control.

I arrived at 5pm. The room wasnt ready. I was handed my towels at the front desk to carry back myself. For anyone wanting to rent a room , if you dont live atleast 50 miles away forget it. Even though there is NOTHING on their website or anywhere in the fine print about this policy. So when I got there , I almost didn't get my stay because they had to check to make sure I was atleast 50 miles away. Thats crazy. If I had been 40 miles away then I wouldn't have gotten a room or a refund . Im 57 years old was getting away from home as I live with my grown children and 2 grand children. It was just me ...... who cares if im 10 miles from home. I paid for my stay 2 wks ahead of the stay and nothing was mentioned till check in. Thank God I fell outside the 50 mile policy but how inconvenient if I hadn't. Then to get there and the room wasnt ready.... bedspread was stained. Microwave didnt work. Toilet paper holder was barely hanging on. Overall, it could have been worse but it sure could have been better.
