“The morning breakfast, though free, was less than desirable. Probably would give it a 2-star rating (at best). The room was clean and generally well kept up (3-4 stars). The check-in process was undesirable as well (1 star). Since we had a confirmation already with Expedia, I would have expected them to ask less questions, but it was a full-blown on-line check in (Name, address, credit card, drivers license, etc.), I would recommend just checking in at the hotel and NOT online. “The staff at Lakes Inn at Dunvilla is the epitome of Minnesota nice. I have never had such friendly and helpful treatment as was experienced during an overnight stay. We travelled through some scary weather on a rainy night to get there, arriving several hours later than planned. The night clerk was waiting at the door with a luggage cart ready for me, and a request to use the hot tub for a quick soak to ease my sore shoulders was generously given. The room was large and well designed. ……

“The TV didnt work while we were there. Also the light switch in the bathroom was very loose and would not always go on with out extra help also the air conditioner was hard to work. Otherwise the place was clean and the employees were excellent.”
