“Stopped for one night, perfect choice. They offered dinner and breakfast, the breakfast was very tasty. I went into the city for dinner, can be easily walked. ”

“We had a lovely stay at Kingfisher cottage. The grounds of Maesgwynne Mansions (on which this small courtyard of cottages is situated) are lovely; this time of year flowering rhododendrons are a highlight, and a walk around took us past the fishing lake and neighbouring fields with various farm animals. There are fabulous views, and the outdoor swimming pool had a cover enabling us to use it even in early May. very peaceful & highly recommended.”

“The decor and soft furnishings were gorgeous. Our room was spotless and warm. We could open the window to suit ourselves which I like. It had the feel of a very well- maintained manor house. The dining room has ornate original plasterwork and other original features. Our breakfast was freshly cooked to order and I recommend the porridge and the delicious vegetarian glamorgan sausage.
