“Accommodation clean and tidy. Keys a little hard to find at the beginning for entry as there are many 'front porches'. In a nice area with mountain views and easy access to Whinlatter and Keswick and surrounding area.”

“Two separate electrical faults. One caused a flame to shoot out the wall melting the wires in the kitchen socket, the other melted the wires in the immersion heater meaning no hot water for several days. A door fell off in the kitchen, and the upstairs landing storage heater wires had been cut and disconnected so it was freezing upstairs at night. I was told by the electrician that came out several times that the owner of the property liked to ‘tinker’ with the electrics hence the botched up……

“Everything from booking process (speaking to a real person) to the stay was F-A-N-T-A-B-U-L-O-U-S. What a brilliant wee bolthole for 2, and as central to the town square as you could possibly be (about 30 steps away). Everything in the accommodation was of high quality, well laid out and a lovely wee surprise card and bottle of sparkly for my 60th from the agent - lovely.
