“The hotel is good and the staff is friendly. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. The problem we had was with our welcome to the hotel. We travelled by train to Heidelberg and did not have a lot of control over when we got to the hotel. We arrived at the hotel at 1:30pm (check in time 3pm). When we tried to check in, we were told we were a little early, but if we paid 20 Euro extra we could check in. Most every hotel we stay at has a check in time, but will not……
