The manager had to come let us in the room because the keys didn’t work. Upon admission to the room it reeked of mold and cigarettes. I asked if he had a different room and he said only if you pay extra. I told him that I could not stay there with my allergies. His response was oh well. My husband and I lost our money and found a different place to stay. The hotel canceled our reservation at 7 PM by email without any reason, and they charged my credit card twice. We didn’t have access to that email at the time, so when we arrived at 10 PM, they told us we had no reservation and that the hotel was fully booked. Their only response was, “You need to contact Expedia.” Meanwhile, my reservation still appears as active on Expedia, and now it even shows as if we stayed at the hotel, which is impossible since they never gave us a room! This situation is unacceptable.
