Welcome to our cozy Mountain Home in Helen! We visited here and loved it so much, that we decided to plant roots here! We hope that you will fall in love with our Lederhosen Lodge as much as we did, and in your own way, that you make the most of your time in the mountains! Whether it is waking up late and enjoying a cup of hot coffee from our coffee bar (Keurig, Coffee Pot); Rising early for a beautiful sunrise from the front deck; Heading out for a hike or a game of golf; or exploring the fun little German town of Helen; or ending the day with a nice glass of wine as you watch the sun set, we hope that your stay at Lederhosen Lodge is the restful and rejuvenating to your soul!

Our mountain home resides in the Innsbruck gated golf community, which lies just on the edge of down town Helen....you get the best of both worlds...close to all of the action, but nestled back on the windy mountainous roads that make this cabin a peaceful retreat in the woods.

Our home is very spacious! All three levels have their own bedroom and full bath, as well as additional living space. The top floor has a loft and game room, complete with arcade games, a multigame table, board games, puzzles, books and more. The main floor has a cozy living room, a dining area and a full kitchen and coffee bar. This main floor has a three-sided wrap around porch, which affords guest to enjoy a tranquil and quiet mountain view, an early morning sunrise, and even a beautiful sunset later in the day. Wildlife is abundant in our neighborhood. Don't be surprised to see deer, foxes, and maybe even a bear (don't approach them, but the sighting is nice). The basement level has a separate entrance from the front of the house, as well as stairs from the main floor inside. Parking is available in the front, allowing visitors to come in on the bottom floor. Downstairs, in addition to the bedroom and full bathroom, you have a secondary kitchen, living room area with a trundle bed and a walk in laundry room complete with washer and dryer.

Each bedroom and both living rooms have a smart tv. The Wifi connection is enhanced with a mesh system. Connectivity will be no problem...if it is, please unplug and reconnect...99% of the time this will do the trick.

Our three-sided wrap around porch hosts multiple areas: a HOT TUB, a fire pit space, a grilling area complete with a charcoal grill, covered, shaded seating and full sun exposure which is perfect for catching a sunrise, sun set and fabulous for star gazing at night!

Additional amenities included with your stay include: pickleball and tennis courts, and a community swimming pool ( The pool is seasonal).

Right in the neighborhood, is the Valhalla Resort which boasts 3 restaurants and a roof top wine bar, casual and fine dining; Spa services and golf (check their website for prices and reservations).

Absolutely beautiful house! We enjoyed the wrap around deck for wildlife watching (we even saw a bear in the back wooded area). The neighborhood is very well maintained & a beautiful drive. If I had any questions or concerns, the owners were very accommodating & understanding. Overall, it was a wonderful stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lederhosen Lodge. The home is beautiful with plenty of room for the 7 of us (plus one very old chihuahua) We came for the first weekend of Oktoberfest and our host was very helpful in giving us some tips and tricks such as where to park and restaurant recommendations. It's located very close to downtown Helen and only 20 minutes away from Anna Ruby Falls which is a must see if you are in the area.

We had a wonderful night with our kids. The home is pristine. The neighbor homes were a bit closer than anticipated, but no problems whatsoever. We loved the hot tub, and the wrap around deck. Just the quiet getaway we needed. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent Location

The location is perfect, super close to the downtown area and lots of dining. It's a short drive to many activities. The cabin is very cute and worked well for the time we spent in it. Helen is a great town to visit, and we definitely enjoyed it.

Well-maintained property. Host goes avove and beyond. Plenty of board games and arcade style games if you just want to stay in fornthe evening. Close to downtown Helen. Definitely recommend.

Family Trip for Christmastime!

The 7 of us had a wonderful stay here! We were close enough to Helen, where it was easy to get into town, but we still felt separated from the busy crowds. The firepit was especially loved on the chilly nights as well as the arcade games upstairs! Would recommend anyone we know coming to Helen!

We had such a great trip to Helen. The house was wonderful! The layout provided a lot of privacy for each of us. It had everything we needed! We loved the porches in the evenings. Our host was the best! She checked on us and gave us great tips for visiting the area.

great family retreat

The property is as advertised! It is a beautiful house and the bedrooms are nice and on different floors. We did some hiking for sightseeing and waterfall viewing. So easy to get around even if it is mountain country. Most our reason for going was to spend time visiting with our daughter and her family. AND we did that! It was a wonderful time!!! every text we sent Stephanie was immediately answered. We loved everything!! Thank you

Great roomy place

Our family of 6 adults and one toddler stayed for 8 nights. There was plenty of space for everyone to gather together and to get away from each other. The porch was an amazing place to hang out, morning, noon and evenings. The host is great with communication and very responsive. The kitchen is very well stocked for meal preparation. The coffee bar is nice.The location is great for getting to all the activities in the area, while the solitude at the top of the mountain is so enjoyable. Everyone was grateful for the blackout curtains. The towels were so nice!The driveway was intimidating at first (none of us with much mountain driving experience), but everyone adjusted quickly and it was no problem. Would definitely stay again!

Cozy German mountain home!

We loved our stay here! The layout of this mountain home was wonderful for our big family with a bedroom and bathroom on all 3 levels! Plus an extra kitchen in the basement! The wraparound porch was great for sitting down with a cup of coffee in the mornings, and then relaxing by the firepit at night! And our kids loved all the game tables and arcades! Only a 5-10 minute drive to downtown Helen! Stephanie was a wonderful host and was available for anything we needed! We would loved to come back!

The house is very nice but to get there is not so nice. First you have to go through the guardswho take their jobs way to serious. Then it is nightmare curves non stop to the house. Its like 5mph curves the whole way.

Great place

Came to Helen for july 4th, with my two children, hisband, ex-husband, kids significant other and our new and first grand baby. The house was stunning and very wrlcoming and relaxing. It was close to the town of Helen without being in the midst of the crowd and traffic. The property owner was absolutely amazing. She has to be the best we have ever worked with. She stayed in contact with us and just seemed like a very lovely person. I truly appreciate her and the fact she ofders such an amazing place to stay. The only negative thing i could say was that drive way is steep, narrow and a little scary. Its a good thing we came in a 4runner and truck.I will definitely stay at the property again.
