Hotel Videseter

Hotel Videseter

10/10 Excellent
"Hotel Videseter was a nostalgic stay. It was built on history and continues to honor its history. The hotel is a bit of a distance from other amenities which is its one downside. However, it makes up for it with great views and incredible hospitality. Overall, the hotel is older and a bit worn. Decor is aged and the carpet had stains in different areas. While it needs some updates, we had some of the best views and best service during our one night stay over our 15 day vacation. The breakfast was exceptional and the buffet dinner was one of our favorite meals with various types of proteins, salads, and carbs - all fresh and well prepared. The views from the room, dining room, and lobby are incredible. Overall, if you can come with realistic expectations that this is an older hotel that is honoring its heritage and not a newly built facility, you will fall in love with its familial tone, its views, and its mystique."
