Ok hotel, easy to find when you are travelling via Stranda. However, the hotel had "marks" of being a bit under-maintained. The elevator did not work properly and the car chargers on the outside were not working, even though they had had repairs on them the week before. That is of course not the hotel's fault, but adds to an stamp of being ok, but not more. The restaurant served good food, but for a hotel restaurant I would have preferred a wider menu, especially for young people. Burgers should be an easy addition to the menu. In addition they did not have the sirloin steak available. The breakfast was good. The room was ok, not very big and no shampoo in the shower, but clean and tidy. The pool was good. The shuffleboard was also a good activity to have available.

My family stayed 1 night at Alnes Gard during our trip to Norway. We stayed here as a base to see Alesund and so glad we did! This place is a lovely little gem and we had fun exploring the small island. We saw lovely rainbows, experienced a beautiful ocean sunset, and went on a great hike! Would highly recommend this place!
