She mentioned they were working on getting hot water as a pipe had busted. However the water didn't get hot that night. The heater ran but the room didn't get warm. As it was the only available motel in the area, I had to book another night. I called first to inquire about the water and heater and requested a different room but they were all full. I told her that I would book the same room and got confirmation that it was booked. Then the owner called me the morning of my reservation to tell me he cancelled my reservation since I wasn't happy with the room and already rebooked it. They had no more rooms available. I was polite when I inquired about another room but I guess they took it as complaining. All I was looking for was a clean, comfortable, and quiet place to to clean up and sleep.
