“I hate to give any negative review because they people there are great people. Very nice staff and beautiful grounds with lots of vegetation. The room though is pretty basic and tried to have a fireplace but the smoke kept blowing into the room and then all our stuff smelled like smoke. No other source of heat. Could be a wonderful place but needs improvement on the rooms. But again still enjoyed our stay.”

Das Haus liegt eingebettet in einem wunderschönen Garten inkl. eigener Kaffeeplantage. Ein schmaler Fluss umgeben von Bäumen grenzt direkt an. “Adriana, the property owner, was very welcoming. She covered all the logistics clearly and she also arranged for our shuttle to the airport which was very helpful. The room was basic but very comfortable. Our only issue was finding it as Costa Rica does not have street addresses. There was a map and description so we got close but needed help. Our taxi driver was able to phone Adriana for assistsnce.”

“No AC, loud noises from street (lots of motorcycles), loud music from lobby (karaoke machine?), bed with no blanket (only top sheet), and bathroom out of TP and paper towels. However, hotel staff were super friendly and helpful and responded quickly to any inquiries. Decent storage in room closet. Area is secure (garage door and front door locked at night). Had a private room for 4 and it did the trick for a 1 night stay before early flight but otherwise would be rough. ”

“The room was clean. The problem for us was that our flight was at 2 pm and we thought we could sleep in a little. The room has no sound proofing whatsoever so we dealt with very loud children at 7-8 am. You can also hear the planes as if you were next to the airport. Most importantly it is not a bed and breakfast. Yes there is a breakfast option, but it is charged separately.”

“This garden stay near the city was a wonderful stop on our way from the Pacific Coast to the Caribbean Coast. The pool was very clean and refreshing. Inid and her trusted companion Lucy were wonderful hosts. We ended up showing up early and were not turned away. Privacy was 100% being within the gates and the entire property is one huge garden.
