"A one night stay very warm welcome and shown to our room. Excellent evening meal thoroughly enjoyed the roast and the beetroot wellington. The room was nice and a comfortable bed in room 1. We had a, tapping noise all night from the pipe work which unfortunately impacted our nights sleep reported to reception on our departure I hope it's resolved before the next guest. We'd stay again."

"The staff were brilliant, friendly, helpful and polite. The position of the hotel was excellent for exploring the area. The room size was fine and the amenities good. What the room needed was air conditioning, I realise it is extreme heat and a fan was provided but I believe it was way too hot and oppressive. The water system was ropey and waiting for the water to arrive and the bathroom in general needed updating. However the room was clean."

"Very peaceful place to stay. Staff helpful and friendly. Bed was comfortable. Conveniently close to the main road but still quiet. Fairly flat walk into Hereford along the river (4-5 miles). We really enjoyed our stay, thank you."

"Staff were wonderful. We arrived very early on the motorbike and they found us doneness to change and leave our bike gear so we could go exploring. Table service breakfast was a lovely treat and very delicious. Room was wonderful. The outdoor garden area is really nice, very private and beautiful with lots of flowers. Great spot to chill in the evening. Much closer to town than appeared in the map so was very happy with that and it's very close to walking path along the wye"

"What a lovely place to stay, I was greeted by the owners, told of the honesty box should I fancy some refreshments and given my room key. Room was impeccably clean and had all the facilities you'd need. The breakfast was amazing, using top quality local produce. I stay in Hereford often and will definitely be using this wonderful hotel again."
