"This was a super cute and very secluded house with a lake cabin feeling. The windows in the back give an amazing view of the lake and heavily wooded lot. The house has all the amenities you need. We visited a couple of days after a deep snow which stuck to all the trees and gave us the perfect winter feeling as the lake started to freeze over for the winter."

"Staff was courteous and faculty was clean. Beds are comfortable and pillows are pretty good also. Will stay again "

"Lovely, cozy vibe. Kids enjoyed the ping pong table, bunks and a variety of the other board games in addition to the massive movie theater room. Plenty of towels and spacious for the family & friends to gather. No dishwasher wasn't a deal breaker as the kitchen sink was large and plenty of space to drip-dry items. Water was nice and HOT. Host was fast to reply & easy to communicate with. Stayed right after season's first snowfall, so can imaging how beautiful it would b in the height of summer season! There were even swans on the lake!"

"Barry was welcoming when we arrived and had good suggestions for food and hiking trails. This was a spur of the moment trip my friend and I planned to Alexandria. Wonderful to relax in the hot tub at the end of each day. Enjoyed grilling out. Although weather limited our ability to be outside, had fun in the VRBO playing games etc. This is quiet location which we enjoyed. Kitchen had adequate supply of cooking utensils. "

"Our family enjoys coming to Kensington each year to the "Vacation" House. We enjoy the space for the Grandkids to play and all the different areas to make use of! The kids love all the games and play areas!! The kitchen is well supplied and Love all the bedrooms and the how much space each bedroom has!! It is always so clean and well organized. It is close to playgrounds, grocery store, gas station, and an awesome bar/restaurant!!! We love the Old Town Hall!! Plus growing up in Kensington...it brings back all kinds of memories of the Town Hall!! Thank you!!!"
