“After having a bad experience at a previous hostel we drove down the block to Jaco Laguna in hopes of finding a last minute place to stay for the week. The staff was extremely accommodating and we managed to book a beautiful room and check in immediately! “Beautiful place. Away from the hustle of town. It was off season when we were there so it was very quiet. Restaurant was only open for breakfast and lunch. Pool was awesome. Lots of stuff to do during the day in the area and then head back for a relaxing evening. Monkeys would visit most afternoons. My daughter loved the resident cats and guard dog. The animals were as friendly as the staff. Thinking about bringing more family next year.”

“We loved our stay at Marala. The view was amazing, food was great, and we saw capuchin monkeys more than once. My son was in love with the dessert crepes and I got the mango avocado ceviche almost every night of our stay because it was so, so good. Breakfast was also great.
