“Overall, we had an okay stay, but I feel the property was overpriced for what it offered. The location was convenient, around a 30-minute walk or 25-minute bus journey into York city centre. Having on-site parking was a real bonus, as was the nearby supermarket. We also appreciated the baby gate on the stairs, and our children loved sleeping in the bunk beds. However, there were several issues that affected our stay. The property is advertised as a two-bedroom apartment, but in reality it has……

“This was an outstanding stay! Very comfortable. They had everything you could want/need in a short term rental. I was able to fix several meals in the kitchen with ease. The only hiccup was that the place hadn't been cleaned from the previous occupants when we arrived. It was an oversight that was quickly remedied with the cleaning crew arriving soon after we communicated the problem. The host was easy to reach and apologetic. Even with this minor inconvenience, I would definitely recommend this……

“Muy buena ubicación, bonito departamento, pero el wc estaba sucio sin bajarle, unas sábanas con cabellos y no tenía amenidades indispensables cómo shampoo y suficiente papel del baño para solo dos noches. El car Park sugerido costaba más de 100 libras por dos noches, sugerimos el Q Park, misma distancia y mitad de precio”

“Lovely visit to York. The apartment is perfectly placed - 5 minute walk to the Shambles and York Minster but far enough out to be a quiet base. The apartment was clean and modern with all the basics provided. Bed was comfortable and bedding of good quality. The grounds are kept clean and the canal is a idyllic back drop. All in all, very impressed, we would definately book again when staying in York.”
