Vacation home Emily by Interhome

Vacation home Emily by Interhome

10/10 Excellent

Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to go to Hetes?
While Hetes itself is a small village without extensive tourist infrastructure, the best time to visit the wider Somogy County region, which includes Hetes, is generally during the late spring (May to early June) and early autumn (September to early October) months.During these periods, the weather is pleasantly mild, making it ideal for exploring the natural beauty of the area, such as Lake Balaton, which is a short drive away. You'll find fewer crowds compared to the peak summer months, and the landscapes are particularly beautiful, whether it's the blossoming flowers of spring or the rich colors of autumn foliage. For those interested in outdoor activities like hiking, cycling, or exploring vineyards, these months offer comfortable temperatures without the intense heat of summer. It's a great time for couples or solo travelers looking for a tranquil and scenic escape.Summer (July and August) is also popular, especially for families visiting Lake Balaton, but temperatures can be quite high and tourist areas can be more crowded.
