“A great location to explore the area, including walking distance to WoodHenge, a short drive to Stonehenge and an hour from Glastonbury. Very quiet, peaceful and quaint. The perfect short break away.”

“Charming cottage, conveniently situated near Stonehenge and other related sites. It was a great base for us to explore the area. The cottage had all we needed to be comfortable - plenty of space, comfortable beds and well equipped. The village has a great pub (The Plume of Feathers). We were there on a Sunday evening when it is usually shut, but the landlord said he would open the kitchen just for us!! The menu was imaginative and the food absolutely excellent so do recommend patronising……

“Why is the rating so low? Because the photos and the description do not match reality. The listing clearly states that guests have access to a BBQ (as shown on the website), but the real photos do not confirm the presence of any barbecue area. In our messages, we were informed at the last moment that there was no BBQ at all. The host even suggested that we could bring our own barbecue, which clearly shows that the listing was misleading. “Such a great stay at the hideaway. The accommodation and views were stunning. Had such a warm welcome from the hosts and the breakfast and attention to detail just made it that bit more special. Highly recommend and we can’t wait to come back and stay again ”
