It is such a warm, sweet setting to spend time together as a family and share the holiday. The home is a traditional farm house with a big fire place. We appreciate all the Christmas decorations. Aug 9, 2023 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Cozy cottage Pulling in from a 9 hr drive we were greeted by deer It was the start to a perfect family vacation The home and property was perfect had everything we needed We cooked most meals comfortably in the fully equipped kitchen slept trrrific in comfortable beds loved just enjoying the quiet and seeing rabbits deer hummingbirds fireflies it was exactly what this family from the city needed we explored NC too so much to see and do lots of hikes and waterfalls and don’t forget about the great restaurants and shopping minutes away we can’t wait to visit again thank you for providing such a lovey safe home for my family and I peace and love ##### Jessica T. This home is also only an 8 minute drive from town which was very convenient for downtime. There is a Dollar General 5 minutes away for any of those last minute needs. The home was clean, well stocked and private. We felt like we were in the middle of nowhere. It was so peaceful and convenient. I would highly recommend staying here for any getaway but especially if you have someone getting married at Flat Mountain Farms. We hope to be back!
