Amenities may be lacking and no free breakfast, but they do have free wifi. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, and where else will you find a child's wooden hobby horse in the corner. But the biggest plus is the price. One of lowest prices in the area. Easy access off I-77 at Exit 8 in Virginia. The people at the hotel were very friendly and helpful, despite the late arrival. The location was convenient to the highway, which was what counted in this instance. It was in pretty bad shape. The room we stayed in looked like it has been falling apart for a long time. The ceiling in the bathroom was bubbled and peeling. The carpet in the room was so dirty I wouldn't walk on it without shoes on. This place made me and my friend so creeped out that we didn't get a very good nights sleep at all. It felt like the backdrop to some Hills Have Eyes movie or something. I won't book through expedia again. We were unsure what it was like until we arrived. It is in a beautiful setting, and quite quaint. The only thing difficult was finding dining. The night we stayed was a Holiday night (Memorial Day eve) and most places were closed. The room was clean and unique with all the dolls and older furniture.
