Hilltop Golf Course Tours

There was no where to park while you checked in. The hotel parking was full. I had to wait down the street then we parked in a parkade and had to walk to the hotel to check in. It was winter . The place did not look as advertised. Cracked floor tiles, rather dingy carpet. Kitchen and bathroom cupboards water stained. There was no spa . The pool was ok nice length but it was up several flights of grotty stairs and the ceiling over the pool was low and dimly lit. On top of that the Wifi was completely unreliable until the front desk clerk brought up a modem. I never write reviews but i had to this time. It was very disappointing after a long drive .

Second stay just as good as the first. Friendly helpful staff. The in house restaurants and bar are all terrific. Most striking and welcoming is the decor: mid century styles in jewel colours making the rooms and lobby feel warm and welcoming in th midst of a Canberra winter.

Tv wasn’t working and fridge was not cold . Rang reception to complain . They said they would move me but asked me to come downstairs with all my luggage to swap keys . Surely someone could have brought these to me . Then the tv was still not working so I needent have move rooms . No apology or even a free drink offered . On a plus point the bar staff were excellent
