My son is wheelchair bound and the receptionist ended up changing our rooms to accommodate him. Breakfast was good. They have a make your own waffle station. The bed, towels, and chairs were dirty, and there were broken items in the room. I was told that all the rooms were in similar condition and was offered a cover to place over the dirty chairs. The second room was no better and had the same cleanliness and maintenance issues. Additionally, the front door would not open all the way. This experience was unacceptable for a paying guest. I stayed for 4 nights and on the 3rd day I had requested to have the room refreshed since I had towels and trashing piling up. I did not know at the time but I had spoken to the assistant manager who quickly said they will clean the room the next day. The next morning I set aside my belongings so housekeeping can clean freely. I came back from being out most of the day to find my room the exact way I’ve left it, no cleaning done, towels and trashing untouched. I did report this and was told the general manager would be made aware. I do not understand why when I requested for the room to be cleaned I was brush away with “no” basically.
