The hotel location is convenient for medical appointments. The staff are friendly, the hotel is quiet, and your needs are accommodated. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. There are numerous restaurants close by.

We booked the hotel for convenience for a family wedding. Good location and plenty of rooms. Nice, friendly and helpful staff. The hotel in general is ok, but is in serious need of refurbishment and upgrades, especially for the rates they charge. Our bathtub had been reglazed, but the finish had a big hole in it. There were dings in the drywall and paint requiring touchups. The pool was very small for the size of hotel and the whole setup is dated. They clearly keep a full house due to their close proximity to the football stadium and Tech campus, but they really need to give this property a major spruce-up.

This restore gem from the 20’s was extremely comfortable. Concrete floors, very thick doors and a beautifully restored lobby were just a few of the amenities that made our stay enjoyable. The food in the pub and the grill made it easy for these road warriors tired of our drive. We would definitely return to the Settles if our travels bring us near Big Spring again. F.S.
