Hôtel.com mentionnait que cet établissement offrait une salle de bain privée (cela est indiqué sur ma confirmation de réservation reçue de hôtel.com). C’est faux, les salles de bain sont partagées. J’ai noté en lisant les commentaires que plusieurs autres clients se sont aussi fait avoir! Le propriétaire de le l’hôtel dit qu’il faut adresser la situation à hôtel.com, hôtel.com dit qu’il faut adresser la situation au propriétaire de l’hôtel. J’ai utilisé les services de hôtel.com une bonne vingtaine de fois au cours des dernières annees. Basic but clean. We were able to cook a few meals there which helped cut down on cost. Going out to eat in Iceland is EXPENSIVE! Never saw the host but we checked in and out fine. The house is a little hard to find only because there is just a small sign on the door and not in the front of the house. It’s in a good location to sightsee around Höfn. First of all it’s more like a hostel than a hotel. It was very expensive and was just a small room with 2 beds and no private bathroom as stated in the description. It is actually a house that you share with others and not a hotel at all. There was nobody to check us in and it was not easy to get a hold of the owners. Sharing a tiny bathroom with 8 strangers was horrible. You can’t control the air temp in your room and it was SO hot. To cool it off you have to open a window (no screens) and the bed is directly below the window. No blackout curtains either. You can hear EVERYTHING in the rooms next to you.
