On the weekend it may be tough to get a Grab/taxi during dinner time. The resort is very nice however the rooms are not well insulated as you can hear people in the next room especially if they have kids. Restaurants are below par, services are slow as they are very busy during breakfast. Die Villa ist zwar schön und der eigene Pool macht es angenehm, aber wenn man genauer schaut ist es nicht mehr so schön. Teilweise bröckelt die Wand, Vorhänge gerissen und kaputte Toiletten. Dies ist eins der Premium Zimmer und da erwarte ich auch mehr. Selbst nachdem Cleaning fertig war, war es nicht sauber. Wie soll auch so eine Villa in 20 Minuten sauber sein? Musste drauf hinweisen das unter dem Esstisch noch Soße von unserem Vorgänger liegt oder das der Teppich auch mal gesaugt werden muss. Auch den Pool muss man mal sauber machen, in den 8 Tagen hat keiner den Pool vom Blättern etc. weg gemacht. Sauberkeit zieht sich für mich komplett durch, auch beim Frühstück ein Problem! Nicht nur das die Teller teilweise dreckig waren, sondern auch das der Frühstücksraum sehr träge aufgeräumt wird. Man sitzt vllt neben leeren Tischen, aber alles ist noch auf dem Tisch. Sucht man nach einem Tisch, findet man die hinteren. Die vorderen sind zwar nicht mehr belegt, aber die Tische sind noch dreckig. Habe mal gebeten mein Tisch sauber zu machen, da nahm die Kellnerin die alte Serviette und hat es „sauber“ gemacht. Habe nur den Service beim Frühstück mitbekommen und das war wirklich sehr schwach. Aber wenn schon Männer im Sakko (schätze Managment) nicht lächeln oder Grüßen können, was will man von den Mitarbeitern erwarten? Es ist okay aber mehr auch nicht. I would like to express our deepest gratitude to a restaurant staff, a pleasant girl wearing a white shirt ( unfortunately I didn’t ask her name) who bring me a Vietnamese coffee every morning:) The house keeping was so good such that we enjoyed every night here. The room service did never let us down. Delicious and not too expensive ( of course we could have cheaper foods through Grab, but not good quality every time)! By far our favourite breakfast so far. So many options to choose from and very accommodating to other dietary restrictions. We had the pleasure of helping the crew clean the beach one afternoon (a typhoon had just passed), and it was definitely a highlight. They allowed us to use the sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi free of charge which was very nice, highly recommended. Although the hotel might feel a bit distant from old town, the staff recommended a motor bike rental company and we were able to rent motorbikes for extremely reasonable prices. This resort is better than Marriott Danang in terms of facility, food, cleaniness, and the amazing/caring staffs who went out of their way to help us! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We stayed in the Ocean-view suite on the 4th floor, and the room was roomy, clean and the view was spetacular overlooking Danang and the beach. But we have a small issue. The hallway leading from the elevator to our room had an "odor". It was like an "ammonia" smell? Not sure how to decribe it. Maybe someone pissed or threw up in the hallway, and although the hotel clean up the carpet, but the smell was still there. And there were "SCENT OIL" lamps in the hallway (I even have photos of this interesting decor). I think maybe a new carpet may do the job. Again, we really enjoy our stay and will be back again in a few months, and we will stay in the same suite.
