“There was parking outside every unit for 1 vehicle. The rooms were fresh and provided the needed towels and blankets. Extra pillows and blankets in the room too. The owner Simon went above and beyond when we arrived, during a power cut (Narly storm chased us into Hokitika). He made sure we knew what was open for food and that we had a candle for a room until the power came back on.”

“Owen (host) took the time to meet us there, show us around and provided us with complimentary cereals, toast, fruit, fresh milk and juice. Each room was eqipped with a large TV and ensuit bathroom. Couldn't fault the cleanliness , decor and comfort. Would highly recommend anyone to stay here. ”

“What a fantastic property for a family holiday, the gardens and outdoor areas are spacious and stunning, the decor inside and out are very creative and thought out. The kitchen is very well equipped with more than enough crockery, utensils, pots and pans etcI love that the pantry is filled with cooking and baking ingredients including spices and sauces.We felt safe and comfortable at all times. Thank you ”

“WARNING: only hotel in the world with a 16:00 check in. If you can’t be bothered to staff the hotel at least leave a key box like every other hotel. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to waste waiting for 16:00 so checked into the Beachfront hotel in town for the same price and standard check in. ”
