I’ll start with the positive first: the location is great and price was ok. Windows and fans in both rooms made it comfortable when it came to air. The table doubles in size and it helped working remote. Tiny TV had Netflix and the WiFi was good.
The negatives were pretty bad tho. You can feel all the springs in the mattress, the sofa bed is a glorified mat on the ground, the oven light is FULL of dead flies, the floor was filthy, the washer and oven didn’t work, the hot water was mild.
The unit is exactly as shown in the picture. Although when I booked the unit it said dishwasher and nespresso machine, but actually the unit did not have a dishwasher and the nespresso machine was missing. Communicated with the management and they rectified the nespresso machine quickly, and apologized for the erroneous listing details. It’s a nice quiet unit but on the 3 floor with no lift and a narrow staircase (was a little challenging for my big suitcase). Good location, walking distance to a lot of things, and I enjoyed my walks to Covent Garden. Great value for the money, I will stay here again if the opportunity arises in the future.

Small flat only suitable for a couple
The best asset of this flat is surely the location, quite central and well served by buses. The flat is nice but very small, certainly not suitable for 4 people, our group, because two sleep in the bed and two in the sofa, which is the worst sofa I have ever seen in my life, and basically you sleep on the floor. There isn’t enough room to store clothes and everything, and the kitchen is poorly equipped, though we asked for a big frying pan and the host provided it. The living room, where the sofabed is, is right on the main road, so it’s always very noisy. I was the one sleeping in the sofa, and, honestly, I never got enough sleep. The toilet is fine, again, for two people only, t'is very small and there isn’t enough room to put your things. The bottom line is: the flat is just fine for two people and for a short stay.
Frankie's apartment is very conveniently located in Holborn a short walk from many sights and amenities, including the Holborn tube station and the British Museum. The bustling neighbourhood has lots of restaurants and shops, and we especially loved the Lamb's Conduit area. With the police station so close by, though, it is a bit noisy at all times of day.
The apartment itself is pretty basic and somewhat worn (broken tiles, chipped sink, bathroom could stand painting) and doesn't quite live up to Frankie's description of "blinking gorgeous". However, the online description is accurate with the exception of "spaces: kitchen, office". The only thing that could be considered an office would be the table in the kitchen/lounge space. The bedroom is separate, but small - hubby kept his suitcase in the lounge. Bedroom storage is plentiful, but most of it is either above head height or occupied (e.g. vacuum cleaner). I would have liked a night table and light. Note that the washer and dryer are in the stairwell outside the apartment door.
Communication with the manager was excellent and friendly. They checked in with us after arrival and responded quickly. Overall, I would say this is a good apartment for people who value location and convenience over luxury.

The bed was not comfy at all and is well past its use by date - you can feel every spring in the bed and sleeping was difficult. The rubbish bin bag was also not removed after the previous stay. The towel rail also is set at burning hot which is quite dangerous.
On a positive, the location and property amenities were good and the host was responsive when we reported these issues.
Lastly, we would recommend that the host get some curtains for the windows as light streaming in also made it incredibly difficult to sleep as the blinds are well past their use by date.
