This is a great place to stay, for the ambience and especially the food. The house, which was the old town hospital, has been stylishly re-done and serves as a restaurant as well as a B&B. The food is simple but spectacular--Mindy is a really fine cook as well as a warm and welcoming person, and the wine list is very, very interesting. The small "Chardonnay" room we chose (it may have been the only one available) would have been better for a single person--a younger one: no desk or chair, and the bed is pushed against the wall, so one of us had to climb over the other (or over the foot of the bed) to get up. And the private but not en suite bath was on two levels, making shaving and showering a little perilous. But for a breakfast like the one Mindy serves, I'd sleep on the floor: charcuterie and cheese plate with her divine chicken liver house and house-made pickles for me, chorizo and manchego omelet for my husband, ethereal sticky buns, and really, really good coffee. We only wish that we had had time to have dinner as well.

Across the street from The BOB and close to many of the breweries. Nice bar and restaurant with good breakfast (a tad expensive).
Close walk to hockey arena.
Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

The hotel was conveniently located for us; we were visiting a friend and, as a runner, I was thrilled that one of Muskegon's running/biking trails is right across the street from the motel. Also, Run Muskegon happens to meet at the Pigeon Hill Brewery every Wednesday. Pigeon Hill -- which is great -- is only 2 blocks from the motel! (Unruly Brewery is also only a couple blocks away.) To a person, the staff were friendly and helpful.

I was there on a work detail for four days. Those four days went by just too fast...I didn't want to leave. I had room service, Jacuzzi, refrigerator and balcony and the price was unbelievable. It was like a honeymoon site, but without the honey.

Free shuttle service dropped us off for dinner and told us the last pick up was 1030pm we called at 940pm and the girl said "sorry our shuttle person went home" so we're not from around here and we were relying a service they guaranteed, the girl at the front desk just kinda laughed it off and said she was sorry and we just sat there in silence and she said she could call her surpervisor, ok yeah try that? So we sat there and obviously weren't going to wait for a call back to say sorry again, so we took a cab back to the hotel. The girl at the front acted like she didn't know it was us (even though she's the one that suggested the shuttle to us) very annoying . Don't offer a service to people and not follow thru.
