I usually come here with my family every other month in order for my son to swim. Recently I lost my grandmother and one of the staff members was very passive aggressive towards the guest. I was needing to be checked in & her attitude was aggressive, I walked in & said hi.. she awkwardly just stared at me as she was putting lotion on her hands. Instead of “hello welcome to xyz…” she said “ What do you need? Do need something?” I said “I need to check in a room.” She stared and said “well you need to go over there not here..” her name was _____. I know it is a sensitive time for me & she didn’t know, so I brushed it off. Then she said “what is the name..” I told her my name … was holding my ID she act like she didn’t want to grab it I told her “here’s my ID, this would probably help.” She stared and was like “umm okay”.. she rolled her eyes multiple times & as she was walking to the desk she made a face of disgust, she thought I didn’t see her but I did . I forgot I needed an another card to check in the room deposit so I had to go back to my car & get it. I was waiting in line & was checked in by another person. Which was a relief but she was still up there talking on the phone with a customer being very rude. Not sure if she was having a bad day but I did not like that experience. I’m usually checked in by the manager which is a really nice guy but she was very rude. Young of course but I was not expecting someone to be so passive aggressive while working in hospitality.
