8.6/10 Excellent! (365 reviews)
No fridge, and noise from street/nearby bus stop was loud. Other than that, good location and helpful staff on the phone.

9.6/10 Exceptional! (81 reviews)
We stayed in the deluxe 2 bedroom unit and it was very spacious and clean. The beds were comfy and the bedrooms had black out curtains. I sent a message in advance asking for the beds in one of the rooms to be separated and they were each made with their own duvet and bedding, which we really appreciated (they were separated a couple of inches which was sufficient for us). We arrived around 12:30 and were able to store our bags at the The Scotsman Hotel. I sent a message asking if the unit was ready and received a call around 2:00pm that it was ready. We were already up at the castle at that time, but it was nice of them to call.
The kitchen was well stocked for making breakfast with a Nespresso maker, microwave, pans, etc. There’s a Tesco Express less than 1 block away where you can get stuff for breakfast. The unit had nice shampoo and body wash and they left tea, coffee capsules, creamer, sugar and biscuits. It’s located in New Town in an area of row houses about a 15-20 minute walk to Royal Mile. The plus side is this area is not touristy; local residents live in this area and there are restaurants and coffee shops close by. It’s also much quieter and calm than the touristy Old Town area. The downside is that the walk to the Old Town is not far but it is uphill. Overall, we enjoyed being in a calmer area and were very pleased with the spacious accommodations, the 2 bathrooms, and the comfy beds, and would stay here again.
