Upstairs has a generous entertainment loft with TV/DVD along with plenty of seating on the extended sleeper sofa. There is also a large second bedroom with a king size bed. The house is equipped with high speed wireless internet access. The cabin is walking distance to the lake and Tahoe Pines homeowners' association private pier and beach.

Also nearby is the Blackwood Canyon trailhead for access to hiking/biking trails in summer and snowshoeing/cross country skiing in the winter. During the summer months, there is a cozy hammock suspended in the trees, a landscaped yard, patio furniture, and a gas BBQ. In the winter, the cabin is close to several ski areas. Great spot for Tahoe getaway!
A really nice stay with everything as listed. The location is great and easy to get to. Away from it all but close enough to town for restaurants, the lake, and activities. The home warmed up nicely, had a nice functional hot tub, and was clean and comfortable. Let me not forget the wood stove, which was pre-loaded and really a nice plus. Noteworthy: -Kitchen supplies minimal but with Safeway nearby -Cell service (verizon) not very good but great Wifi provided - A tiny amount of effort to work around bear deterrents but considering the alternative, no trouble at all - Comfortable beds, linens and pillow options - so thank you!

Good overall - had some issues
Overall a great stay but had a few issues. The driveway was supposed to fit 2 cars, but there was so much snow piled up only one car fit (luckily we only had one car). Entering, I opened the door without turning the bear fence off as I had never seen one and didn't know what it was. It was also pitch black out by the time we arrived- but a warning to anyone else arriving as you might not know the fence is there. It's in the directions they send but it would definitely be helpful to have a sign in front of the porch as a warning. The house itself was very spacious for our party of 3, and had all the supplies we needed. The hot tub was huge and definitely a highlight of the stay. However, on the second night of our stay, all the snow fell off the roof and blocked the back door and windows so we were unable to open the door and get to the hot tub. By the time we realized this had happened, it was after-hours so no one was able to come to shovel the snow. Thankfully this didn't happen while we had been outside the night before. With the amount of snow that fell from the snow storm the week before I definitely think the snow should've been removed from the roof before anyone stayed there.

Lovely cabin on the West Shore!
Very lovely, well-appointed cabin. The heated floors were a bonus! Great location and very comfy bed. My only suggestion would be to the property management company to consider consolidating their emails/texts/calls. It felt like a bit of automated "over-communication". That said, I would definitely stay there again!

Lovely cabin, would book again
What a lovely cabin! Close to skiing and a short walk to the beautiful lake. The hot tub is dreamy and the kitchen has everything you need including lots of spices. It’s an old school cabin with the Tahoe charm, but a newly remodeled kitchen is a beautiful addition. My family hopes to come back in the summer time.

Great summer vacation!
We loved our little cabin in Tahoe Pines! The location is great, walking distance to the beach/pier and in a friendly and flat neighborhood. A short drive to Sunnyside restaurants and markets. The cabin itself was just as described - the kitchen is new and well stocked. The beds were comfortable and rooms cozy. The loft sofa with the TV was a great hangout space. We wished there was a TV downstairs too, but since we spent most our time outside it worked out fine. We also enjoyed having the hot tub. Would love to come back!

Great property for 4-6 people near Palisades Tahoe and other resorts!
I linked up with 5 friends at this property (6 total) and we all loved it! Great backyard area (this was March 5-9 when Lake Tahoe had record-breaking snow by the way) and everything held up really well despite the weather. The hot tub and entertainment center was our favorite part. Very cozy! The only negative part of this experience was the responsiveness from the owner/property managers. I have a feeling they were all overwhelmed with the weather reports changing every day and the number of people who probably expressed their concerns at this time. I assume there was a high volume of calls/emails to discuss contract terms, which led to delayed responses. When we reached out to discuss the weather/contract terms about a week before the trip, it took at least 4-5 days to get a response and a couple of follow-ups before that. They provided little flexibility due to the weather, which I understand is part of the contract so I don't have any issues there. However, what rubbed me the wrong way was that they called me the day of check-in to let us know that we could now 'reschedule due to weather'. This was too last minute, my friends were flying in when I received this call and at that point, we were not going to cancel our flights, so we had to commit to the stay. I say this not to harm the company's reputation but to provide constructive feedback! It would have been a better experience if we had received a quicker, more proactive response from the owners. Overall, 4/5!

Nice Tahoe Cabin in great location
We enjoyed our stay at this cabin over President’s Day weekend. The location is great, only a 10 min drive to Tahoe City shops and restaurants, right next to the Lake! The hot tub was a welcome bonus in the snowy weather. We brought our dog and we’re advised by property manager that dogs must be leashed per HOA guidelines. As a warning to others traveling with dogs there were many dogs in the neighborhood that were not leashed. I don’t know if these were other visiting families or permanent residents, but it made walking our dog outside challenging. Additionally on our first night there I was getting into the hot tub in the evening with my two young children when two large dogs Nextdoor began to bark aggressively over the fence. Suddenly they both ran over to the hot dog and continued to bark aggressively at me and my children. I yelled at rh to leave and they ran off. But it did frighten us, and was quite unexpected being that we were in the private yard of this home. Just putting it out as a warning to others traveling with dogs or young children, just beware that neighboring dogs are not leashed. Aside from that we had an amazing time. House was as described, very clean and comfortable.

Great cabin feel
This was a our second time staying at this cabin. Love the feel of it. Updated kitchen, nice layout for us . We skied and snowboarded at Homewood and felt like we owned the place. The hot tub after a day at the slopes was a great way to relax. Cooked all our meals at “home”. The recent snowfall prevented us from using the bbq, but we got by with the amenities in the kitchen. Already looking forward to our next stay here.

Great location for Homewood skiing
We enjoyed our stay. Lovely cottage 5 mins drive from Homewood resort. This is our first time skiing here (usually, we go to NorthStar, which has become very crowded in recent years.). The cottage is very cozy, with the wood-burning stove adding an additional charm. My kids and I enjoy the hot tub in the yard. Perfect for a family of 4.
