“We had a wonderful stay. The hosts were very accommodating and showed us through the house upon arrival. The location was amazing within walking distance from all the major attractions. We spent lots of time up on top floor patio that looks out over the river and the foot bridge. We will definitely be back. ”

“We have just returned from the most wonderful weekend at Cheshire Barns. The cottages are absolutely stunning and are so cosy and inviting. They have absolutely every amenity we could have wished for as a family staying with young children . The bonus of a gorgeous hot tub and tennis courts was fantastic. Location wise it’s such easy access to fantastic spots to walk and explore including Tatton park and Delamere forest. Our host was so incredibly kind too as we had to make last minute plans to……

“This is the 2nd time staying here. Just myself and the kids come for a wind down and a quiet break away from the busy world. “Our stay was perfect. We were away for a romantic trip and the cottage was perfect for that. The cottage was beautiful and had everything you could possibly need for a romantic few days away, including two big bath towels each, never mind all the other little touches and the excellent welcome basket. We would highly recommend it to anyone and would love to come back someday. ”

“A very well appointed property ideally situated for the attractions around Chester. The owner was very friendly and accommodating.”

“We have used Hotels.com many times and Sykes cottages a number of times this past year al very good and this was excellent. The booking was easy but the owner of this cottage was excellent in communication and instructions ( Gaynor ) there isn’t enough I could say and we had the privilege of meeting her when she did midweek check on jacuzzi. The kitchen well designed for easy use and very well equipped with everything. Bed really comfortable. We do a lot of walking so the jacuzzi was a massive……

“Great location for our annual family trip home. Janet and Rob are very welcoming and everything was ready and perfect for are 14 night stay. We have tried to book this location in previous years but they were booked. We will definitely be trying again in the future. It’s now top of our list of vacation homes. ”

“We booked this property for a family of 12 as it was close to a family wedding at Chester zoo. The property offers everything, it's spacious, clean and even has a games room to keep the kids entertained. The rooms were good sizes with bathrooms of each of the 3 floors. We also visited blue planet aquarium and Cheshire oaks which were only 20 minutes drive and tried out the local pubs which were good and had an Indian at indivala which was amazing. I highly recommend staying at this property.”
