The family retreat is only 15 minutes from IAH Airport and 30 minutes to downtown Houston.
Kingwood is known as the "liveable forest" right near Lake Houston.
4 large bedrooms with walk-in closets, SMART TVs, and comfortable beds. 2.5 bathrooms.
Comes supplied with coffee, snacks, bedding, towels, shampoo, soap, and toiletries.

Family fun

This home had the perfect amount of space for us, our kids, and grand babies. We were all able to stay under one roof comfortably. The home was very clean and the host was quick to respond!

Very good location. This is an older house but sound. It just needs TLC… yard care and fence repair. I would have liked a fewMore Mirrors in the bedrooms for dressing and an occasional table or floor lamp rather than overly bright overhead fixtures. There were 7Of us and only 4 chairs at the pool, . If you need a TV, there is a BIG one in almost every room. Ample start up supplies. Great washer and dryer.

Spacious great location property

The house was very spacious and nice. We drove in from out of state with family and had additional family come and visit while there. It was big enough for the kids to play upstairs. We brought our gaming system and hooked it up to the upstairs game room/living room to keep the kids occupied. Us adults stayed down stairs to socialize and that was very nice. The pool was not open yet but thats because its February. If we had come during a better season that would have been a great bonus. The beds were pretty good as well and not hard. They had plenty of towels bedding toilet papaer trash bags laundry soap dish soap shampoo conditioner ect to make the stay convenient. The only thing i would mention as feedback not a complaint is there were no seasoning (salt /pepper) etc or tubaware for the kitchen. The owner responded quickly. We last minute decided to do an early check in the morning of our stay and they were very accomidating and communicative with that. I give this property 5 stars and would return if needed to be in the area again. Very nice home and owner. And very local to many restaurants and stores as well.

We booked this property while in the area for a wedding. We had 9 family members from San Antonio and Canada and wanted a place where we could relax and enjoy each other's company. We made an excellent choice with this one. Great access to shopping, dining, etc. in the area. Our host was a great communicator before and during our stay and worked with me for an early check-in and later checkout due to the Canadian family members' flight schedules. Bed's were quite comfortable. Well stocked with all of the necessary amenities. A really nice neighborhood. Overall, a fantastic experience!

Kingwood Reunion

We gathered family from Columbia, MO, New Orleans, Austin, Houston, and Kingwood for a family reunion. We had a great visit except for the power outage, that also took out cell phone towers, which left us with no communication. Otherwise we had a great visit. The house was more than adequate for those staying there. Our only reason for 4 out of 5 rating was the garbage can that was left overflowing outside of the house, which was attracting flies, etc.
