"Husband, dog and I were in the Galveston Bay area looking for houses. La Petit Maison was perfect for our stay. Comfortable, clean, and quiet. Very efficient A/C units were on when we arrived. We walked along the short private walkway to the private deck and private pier a number of times for beautiful views of the bay, sunrise, and sunset. Notable extras include neighborhood location (wonderful for walking our dog) great indoor lighting for evenings, and lots of bath towels and racks for hanging."

"very cute curb appeal and adorable little place when you get there. esp if it’s just you and your daughter who are going to visit a friend and go to the beach. HOWEVER;; the ad says air conditioning, it’s a fan that doesn’t circulate, barely gets cold, and the only way to get cool is to stand in that one spot. when i see air conditioning as one of the only amenities listed, i would at least assume they had a window unit or something!!! it was very hard for me to be there. i have a small child who just turned 3, and i also have health problems and bad lungs. so when im in the heat and humidity it’s EXTREMELY HARD for me to breathe. i woke up in the morning and was dripping sweat, i was so hot and couldn’t breathe i could barely get us packed and out of there. i scheduled for thurs the 21st, wasn’t able to make it down that night due to my daughter having a low grade fever but we were able to break it, keep her hydrated and get there friday night: i explained to the host and asked if i could add that missing night and stay until monday…. he said i had to extend the stay and pay the price for that night. however i was no longer to access the account. needless to say, i left shortly after i woke up and went to get a room at the days inn down the road as soon as i could because the heat was so bad for my daughter and myself..we did enjoy our time there but not great hosting "
