One of the best hotels I’ve visited. We won’t hesitate to stay here again next time we’re in Stockholm. Also, was blown away by the quality of the food when we ordered room service.

Beautiful room with a lot of character, lovely view, personal welcoming touches, the fridge, hot pot and microwave we needed, perfectly clean, and...customer support answered me at midnight bc we were having problems getting in! Turns out we were at the wrong hotel. Ummm....embarrassed. But I was happily shocked that the Bob W. staff got on this right away. I was standing outside a hotel with two teens in town, so very much appreciated all the personal help. Cannot say enoigh about this place! We stayed at the Sodermalm location but I would stay at a Bob W. anywhere in the world, based on this stay alone.

This apartment is a perfectly serviceable apartment in the heart of Gamla Stan (or old town) in Stockholm. You have to keep in mind that the entire town is very old, and this building is probably a few hundred years. it has been retrofitted, but still retains the feel of an old European apartment. Wooden plank floors, large windows, lots of natural light during the day, tight spaces. It is between two restaurants and can be noisy at night. We were on a side apartment, so that noise wasn't that bad. The garbage and glass collection at 6-7 in the morning was. Watch those narrow winding stairs. Don't want to fall down those! There is one very large bedroom with a large double bed. Small kitchen and table. Microwave, Electric stove top. The pull out sofa is the sitting area and takes up a lot of space between the kitchen and bathroom/front door area when open. There are a ton of 220v EU style outlets everywhere, but no US 110v adapters or USB phone charging plugs, so make sure you bring your own if needed. The bathroom is large and roomy, good shower pressure but can get water leakage by the floor as they are not totally sealed. Overall, the apartment was fine. Nothing fancy. Just a place to crash. The location however is great. Right in the middle of tourist town. 10 minutes or less to either side of the Island. Easy to walk to almost anywhere of note in the vicinity.
