"Otter Creek Cottage worked very well for our group of six adults (two couples and two singles), it would also work great for someone with kids (the attic has so much room)! The property manager, Tim, was very responsive. Location is convenient to both Bar Harbor and Acadia, and an easy trip to Roosevelt-Campobello, and so many other things. Kitchen is very well stocked (loved the storage options)! The area is quiet, we enjoyed the back yard (plenty of seating), easy walk to a small market. Wi-Fi access was good. It was a wonderful stay! "The location was beautiful and well worth the price. The indoor pool exceeded our expectations and was immaculate as was the hot tub. We did not use the outdoor pool or fire pit but both looked inviting. The location is close enough to walk to the d9wntown village. The rooms are a little dated but beds were comfortable, Internet access was excellent."

"The cabin is rustic and quaint but had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The location was beautiful and it was close to everything. A grocery store essentially right up the road, the town of Southwest harbor a couple miles down, very easy access to Acadia National Park. We had the best time and would definitely recommend staying here. We hope to come again in the future!"

"The "cottage" is actually the top floor of a larger structure that had a lobster processing plant on the lower level at some point. (It's not operational now.) The interior space is quite nice, with a spacious kitchen and living room, along with modern bathrooms. Our one major complaint was that one bedroom can be accessed only by going through another bedroom. For a family, that might be fine, but when unrelated individuals are involved, it creates some awkwardness and inconvenience. A floor plan or at least mention of this idiosyncrasy should be on the listing. Also, while it wasn't a problem for our group, individuals with mobility issues should know that the place can be accessed only by walking up a flight of stairs. Altogether, though, this was a good place for our group to stay, and we appreciated the convenient, close access to many area attractions."

"What a perfect little spot to stay for two nights in the Acadia area. Loved the accommodations and communications from the host.Getting in and out was a breeze. Being above The Colonels was also a highlight getting to enjoy some of the best donuts ever. Would definitely recommend if you want to enjoy the quieter area of MDI. "

"This was conveniently located 15 minutes from Bar Harbor on the south side of Acadia National Park. The property is an upstairs apartment and is very clean with ample amenities. The best grocery store options are in Ellsworth, so load up there prior to entering Mount Desert island. We enjoyed being apart from the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor yet having easy access to Acadia. Your hosts make check in a breeze and are very responsive. We enjoyed cycling on the carriage roads, sea kayaking, exploring the coast line, and even spent time in Southwest Harbor at the Wonderland trail and Beal’s lobster shack. I would definitely recommend this property!"

"Upon checking in, my partner started to have a bad reaction to all of the fresh exposed wood in the house. Neither of us were aware she had this sensitivity. It did not affect me at all. Amanda came to the rescue and was able to transfer us to another property right on the ocean in the heart of Bar Harbor, essentially saving our vacation. I will just say that the new property was so nice, it was a step down when we finally returned home after the vacation. Amanda rocks!!!"
