All new finishes, beautiful decor and very clean and tidy. The big picture windows looked out into the trees, it was like being in a tree house! We cooked thanksgiving dinner there and the kitchen had absolutely everything we needed, very well stocked. The 20 somethings really enjoyed the pool table and everyone loved sitting on the back deck with a drink, enjoying the beautiful view. There was a great fire pit but we ran out of time to use it. The host left thoughtful gift baskets for everyone. We had an unforgettable time, we will definitely be back! ##### Laura C. It was luxury after the trails to soak in the tub and prepare our dinner in the awesome kitchen. The only issue I had was I am of shorter stature and found the chairs and sofa a bit uncomfortable unless I wanted to lay down. The attention to details are amazing. We loved the thoughtful touches like umbrellas, labelled light fixtures, coffee, tea and baking supplies (just to name a few). The house is beautiful and was a great space for watching movies and playing games with the family. Hidden Valley is a gorgeous location with easy access to Huntsville and Algonquin Park. It was stylish, clean, and had everything we needed to make the weekend enjoyable. We especially loved the games room that included a pool table, darts and many board games. The location could not have been better, and Kellie, our host, was so easy to get a hold of and very accommodating. Everyone, from child to adult, loved the experience! My family and I (siblings) spent the weekend here as a little retreat away from the city life and it did not disappoint! The chalet itself is beautiful and spacious. It was a beautiful, comfortable, cozy and well-stocked chalet. The hosts were extremely nice, and easy to communicate with. Any questions were answered quickly. The chalet is extremely comfortable. It offered an easy way to disconnect from our phones and spend some quality time together. The games room offered pool, chess, and a bunch of board games suitable for the whole family! The huge tub was amazing, and I made sure to get the kids outside so my wife could have an uninterrupted soak. We were visited by a deer early in the morning and the large rear windows were perfect for watching the beautiful sunrise over the lake. All in all, it was a perfect mix of modern amenities and quiet solitude. Even with the other cottages in the area, outside in the yard was peaceful and serene!
