"I liked the Idea of paperless and online check-in, However we didn't get the check-in email and struggled to get a call to them upon arrival since our phones didn't work right on our wi-fi setup we were using. However someone let us use their phone to call them and we were able to send an email and we got in in a few minutes. Someone in the building burnt something on the stove and the fire alarm went off. Without a staff on site we did not know how to reset the alarm or really what to do. So...

"This was the first place we stayed in Iceland and we loved it! The food options were great, the drinks at the bar were incredible, the breakfast was delicious, the beds were very comfortable and we had a wonderful time. I have to give a huge shoutout to Benni who was working reception overnight, the 3rd night of our stay. He gave us guidance regarding seeing the aurora borealis and was so incredibly kind and gracious. "
