Open concept gourmet kitchen with high-end utensils, appliances, & cookware are a chef’s dream. A wood burning stove in the living room and a fireplace in the bedroom radiate both romance and warmth throughout the home. Luxuriate in the ensuite bathroom which features a spa tub & locally made organic bath products. Powerful, new AC will keep you cool in warmer months. Not suitable for children.

Wildland Aerie is a wellness-focused mountain retreat where thoughtful design meets natural beauty. Its unique octagonal shape encourages calm and clarity, gently guiding you into a slower rhythm. Welcome the day by breathing deeply amongst the ancient pines. At night, unwind in the hot tub beneath the stars or gather in our whimsical "Fairy Glen" featuring an outdoor fire pit that glows like a woodland hearth. - 4 Guest Maximum Occupancy
- Pets Allowed with $100 Pet Fee, you must add your pet to the reservation.
- NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN UNDER 12 - due to safety liability on property.
- No parties, no smoking, no loud music, and no additional guests without expressed permission
- Local electric utilities incentivize electric use after 9pm. Please use the Tesla charger after 9pm and run through the night.

For a truly relaxing experience, we recommend spending some time in the sitting area by the creek. Directions to hiking trails, along with recommended sightseeing, shopping, cafes and restaurants will be shared with you upon booking.

We also have an organic apothecary and mindful lifestyle shop in town called WILDLAND that we invite you to visit while in Idyllwild. To learn more about the Wildland experience, visit @wildlandcabins, @wildlandorganics, and @shop.wildland.

Guest Access:
The entire 1 acre of property is yours to enjoy! Private Home with wraparound deck, creek access, hot tub access, and private access to our "Fairy Glen" fire pit lounge area. Please be respectful of our neighbors and do not trespass onto their land - property lines will be identified in your welcome video.

The Neighborhood:
Located on Strawberry Creek, this land offers the soothing sounds only a seasonal creek can provide. Usually running September through May, and sometimes all year, please message to confirm - as the creek changes from season to season. Colorful foliage and apple trees ripe for the picking can be enjoyed in the fall. Come springtime, enjoy frogs croaking and the sweet scent of lilacs in the air as they bloom. Walking distance to town (20 minutes), and a short 10 minute walk to popular coffee shop Alpaca Coffee & Tea, as well as brunch & dinner spot Mile High Cafe. 2 minute drive to Idyllwild Arts Academy.

Getting Around:
You will need a car to properly enjoy Idyllwild, though you won't need it all the time. Hiking trails, restaurants, and the town square are all accessible within a 20 minute walking distance. Everything in Idyllwild is accessible within 5-10 minutes by car. 2 parking spots available for the guest space - please park where indicated to keep space clear for UPS deliveries, thank you!

Quiet , lovely and a fab location

This is our new favorite spot in Idylwild . The porch view is beautiful and inside the view is just as gorgeous. Very clean and the property manager is a professional and has thought of everything. There is a yurt rental as well on the large property as well as several hammocks and firepits. The other rental really was not intrusive. They had a dog as well, but not a problem. Try this spot. You will like it.
