The Space
Find yourself nestled amongst the pine trees in our modern rustic artist retreat in one of Southern California's best kept secrets. We are proud to welcome you to The Wile, our beautiful two-bedroom cabin has been recently lovingly fully restored by the homeowner to provide you with this charming mountain getaway.

Encapsulated in cedar paneling, relax and enjoy the company of loved ones in the cozy open concept living space of The Wile. Nuzzle up on a brisk mountain night on our new modern furnishings as the wood burning fireplace crackles away. The fully stocked kitchen will provide you with all your cooking needs. The Wile offers two beautiful principle bedrooms with attached en-suite bathrooms. The additional kids room features twin bunk beds.

The Wile features great outdoor spaces to enjoy the mountain air. Step out the front patio to enjoy that perfect morning coffee. Walk around to the expansive private backyard that is perfect for enjoying your family evenings around the outdoor firepit.

The Location
The Wile is located just three miles from downtown Idyllwild-Pine Cove, 2 miles to the Idyllwild Nature Center, and a scenic nine miles to the Mt. San Jacinto State Park. The downtown area provides great eateries and entertainment including local shops, wineries, and the newly renovated Rustic Theater. There is an abundance of gorgeous hiking trails perfect for either a quick stroll and a picnic, or more strenuous hikes to epic vistas overlooking the surrounding San Jacinto Mountains. For day trippers looking to explore local Southern California the property is located only about an hour from Palm Springs and about two hours from the world-renowned Joshua Tree State Park.

Pet Policy
The Wile is dog friendly for 1 dog up-to 50lbs. We ask guests to pay an additional $35/dog/night and a $500 refundable pet damage deposit. Dogs must be crate trained for when the owner is away from the property. Guests must sign the dog waiver included in our rental agreement. Guests must notify Altez Vacations prior to their arrival if they are bringing a dog.

The Neighborhood
The Wile is located in a small residential neighborhood with close by neighbors. Due to the terrain of the neighborhood sound is easily carried. . We ask that all guests please be respectful of our neighbors. Quiet time for the property is from 10PM - 8:00AM. Parties or loud activity past 10PM will not be tolerated and will be subject to $250 noise violation plus additional fines issues by Riverside County.

What Altez Vacations Provides

The management and care for the property listed are provided by the property owner. The Guest will be provided with the property owners personal contact information prior to guest arrival, in the event, the Guest needs assistance during their stay.

Altez Vacations is an acting third party listing service, who has received the explicit permission from the Property Owner to publicly list and sign into transient rental agreements on behalf of the Property Owner.

Cancellation Policy
Bookings canceled at least 30 days before the start of the stay will receive a 93% refund. Bookings canceled at least 14 days before the start of the stay will receive a 43% refund. Bookings canceled within the 14-day window are non-refundable.

Reservations of 15 nights or more may be canceled at least 90 days before the start of the stay will receive a 93% refund. Cancellations within 45 days of the check-in date and are refundable up to 43%.

Should a refund be issued, a credit to the original credit card in the amount of the reservation minus the cost of the cancellation fees will be issued within 5 to 7 business days.

**Minimum Age 25: All Reservations must be booked by and accompanied by an adult who is 25 years of age or older. Valid photo I.D. may be required at time of booking.

Lovely little cabin
Nice cabin in a very quiet neighborhood. It has pretty much everything you need. Having bathrooms in each bedroom was a plus. The outside yard it great for dogs and kids. They loved it! My only complaint is that in the book when you check out, they want you to vacuum. I don't mind gathering up towels or stripping the bed but why should I pay a cleaning fee if I have to vacuum.

Cozy cabin
The cabin was just as advertised. It was cozy, clean and appealingly decorated. The cabin sits among pine trees. The backyard was fenced in, great for the dog. Any questions we had were quickly answered. We would stay there again. Idyllwild is a dog-friendly town and we took the dog out to lunch with us. The Idyllwild Brewpub allows dogs on the patio and sells a pup patty. Our dog loved the trip. We enjoyed visiting the Nature Park and hiking the trails of the trails with the dog. You will need a permit/Adventure pass for some of the hikes. Idyllwild is a great place to visit and the Wile cabin was a great place to stay.

Beautiful Getaway Cabin!!!
I just spent the best weekend ever at The Wile Cabin. Everything about this place is near perfection. The decor is stylish yet homey at the same time. This place is stocked with absolutely everything needed to make meals (except the food of course - lol) The wood burning stove/fireplace was the highlight as we spent a very snowy and cold weekend in the pines but we were toasty warm the whole time. The beds are comfortable with extra blankets and pillows if desired. It is obvious that Tawny (the owner) pays attention to the details and cares about her guests!

Cozy cabin.
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. The cabin was filled with everything we needed. It was so very cozy. The back yard was big and we enjoyed the hammock. The temperature of the spa was perfect! The area was beautiful and quiet, exactly what we were hoping for and the cabin was spacious and clean. I only wish that the master bedroom was done in rustic like the rest of the cabin! The owner would check on us via text to be sure we were happy and if we needed anything which was a nice touch. Great experience and looking forward to doing it again.

A wonderful setting for a peaceful getaway

Nestled among tall pines on a quiet street, this stylish cabin was the perfect spot for our anniversary getaway. It is impeccably decorated, super clean and has everything one needs for comfy stay. The primary bedroom bed was so comfortable with perfect linens. The living/gathering area has a spacious leather sofa, large TV and a basket filled with games. The hot tub and fire pit under the stars are amazing! We didn't use the grill but my husband said it looked great. The cabin is a quick drive from town and hiking trails. The management team and owner are very kind, professional and responsive. Everything was easy and we look forward to recommending this property to our friends and returning again someday. Thank you!

So Lovely!!
This house is adorable!! It is laid out so cute with so many nice touches. It was just me and my husband this time but we plan on coming back and bringing our adult children with us. We spent most of our time in the backyard, enjoying the hammock in the shade of the trees. This house is fully stocked with lots of towels and blankets. Lots of places to lounge around and spacious bedrooms if you need quiet. The owner is just as lovely and answers any questions I had right away. We stay in rental homes all over the place and I love when you meet an owner who is so kind and excited to have you, such a treat. Stay here! You will love it!

The place could have been cleaned more thoroughly, user instructions were somewhat unclear (but owner was very responsive) and there is no place to hang clothes (and not even a place to put clothes - beside a luggage rack - in one bedroom). Lived the place anyway. So peaceful and serene.

We have been coming up to Idyllwild-Pine for years to especially the fireworks this cabin is hands down the best one we have stayed in! Clean, beautiful, great style super thoughtful! I can’t say enough about how great it was! The kitchen had everything you needed the bed were super comfy the backyard was AMAZING!!!!
