"What a wonderful stay! The castle itself has lots of charm and history. The staff were helpful and kind and the food was excellent! A bit of a hike into the town so you will probably need a car or taxi from the main train station but cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed ourselves."

Kincraig Castle Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"This traditional country house hotel offers a weary traveller a very comfortable overnight stay. The imposing building is impressive but only a one minute drive from the main road so easy to reach and well signposted. We arrived quite late in the evening after a delayed flight and our check-in was quick and the staff so helpful, calling a local take away for us as the hotel kitchen had closed for the evening. Our room was spacious and well presented, the bed was really comfy and facilities clean and tidy. Breakfast was a great offer of help yourself items with a separate menu of cooked to order items available. The breakfast staff were lovely and it was a relaxed affair which set the day up nicely. This is an old building and offers tradition with a lounge with large sofas and a cosy bar, a neat breakfast room and lovely gardens. A lovely start to our Scottish highland adventure."

"We had an enjoyable stay. The hotel is very central so convenient for city centre amenities. It is however very close to a lot of the bars and pubs, so if you don’t want to be disturbed at night choose a river view room which are at the back of the hotel. We found the staff very friendly and helpful and the room was very clean."

"Wonderful spot, especially with kids, as the common space has a slide, pirate ship climber, farm animals to see (goats, chickens, ponies) and grass to run on. The glamping cabins were quite clean and "cozy", as you'd expect, but we fit 3 adults and 3 kids in there. We were able to buy some firewood for a cooking fire. Definitely recommended for anyone looking to get a bit of a camping experience. Owners were very friendly as well, and generally available as needed."
